Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I moved to Ireland in 1998 in search of new opportunities. After retiring from an extensive career in Tele-communications, I turned an eye to a long time interest in quilting. Using all natural cottons in my work, I make quilts from traditional patterns but also enjoy creating my own designs. I use my time, when not taking classes or searching for fabric, to create new pieces. My indivicual work has been displayed at the Tinahely Quilt marquee, the Lakeland Quilt Fair (County Cavan) and the Wexford Arts Centre.

My Awards include the Lakeland Quilt Fair Journal Quilt Competition (Traditional Design) - First Prize 2007; Brother Sewing Machines 50 Yr Journal Quilt Competition – 3rd Prize 2008; Lakeland Quilt Fair Journal Quilt Competition (Traditional design) - First Prize 2009

I also belong to a group of textile artists that got together in 2008 and have worked and exhibited, as The Textile Art Forum, from 2009 through today in various venues in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
